JV – Lindsey Shaub

JV Coach Lindsey Shaub graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin in 1998 where she played volleyball all four years.  She went on to play volleyball at Millikin University, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Business Management with a concentration in International Studies.  She volunteered at various volleyball camps and clinics before being officially hired as the PORTA Junior High 7th grade volleyball coach in 2016.  Coach Shaub worked as a licensed securities investment representative until beginning her family, at which point she became a full-time mom.  She now works as a substitute teacher for the PORTA school district. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Bluejays Junior Football as secretary, and works each winter and spring to assist the wrestling program with hosting the PORTA Open and Lil Bluejays wrestling clinic.  She lives in Petersburg with her husband, Bill, who also volunteers his time as a youth football and wrestling coach. She has a son, Trace (13) and a daughter, Tristan (10), both actively involved in PORTA sports. In her spare time, she can be found volunteering for her kids’ sports teams and school events or camping with friends and family.
